简介：The appropriate reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and endo−scopic accessories is an essential part of safetyand quality ssur−ance in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Since 1994, the ESGE–ES−GENA Guideline Committee of the European Society of Gastroin− testinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and the European Society of Gastro−enterology and Endoscopy Nurses and Associates (ESGENA) hasdeveloped a number of guidelines focused on hygiene and infec−tion control in endoscopy.
